In the Asagiri Kogen Plateau area located in the northern part of Fujinomiya City, dairy and livestock farming are thriving in the rich natural environment at the base of Mount Fuji.
You can enjoy dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, gelato, and soft serve ice cream, as well as dishes made with livestock products such as beef, pork, chicken, and eggs in various places around the city.

About 300 tons of green tea is produced in Fujinomiya City annually.

Fujinomiya City has four sake wineries. All of them were founded in the Edo period (1603-1868), and they use spring water from Mount Fuji and well-selected rice as ingredients to create flavorful sake while carrying on the tradition.
In recent years, the production of local beer and wine has also become popular.

Fujinomiya City boasts one of the largest production volumes of rainbow trout in Japan.
Rainbow trout raised in the pure spring water of Mount Fuji has no strong smell or flavor, and can be enjoyed in a variety of dishes, such as sashimi and grilled with salt.
